Please focus on a specific area in the west during the period in the topic listed. Give specific detail on how the people of that area in the west felt, what was their experience, what were their life conditions, where were their families. What laws were in place at the time of the civil war and right after during reconstruction, that interfered with the lives of African Americans in the west.
